I love people. People with their loveliness, honesty and also their imperfections. I was always the girl with her head in the clouds, and have learned to fit in in a world that doesn’t have space for dreamers. Nowadays I find more and more space to make time for dreaming.

I am an agricultural scientist and have obtained an MSc in organic agriculture at the university of Wageningen. I have worked in the agricultural world for a long time, but then have moved on to an arguably even greener sector and am now project leader for parks and recreation for the city of Amsterdam.

I was born in the beautiful city of Düsseldorf. In 2011 I moved to Amsterdam, to live with my boyfriend at the time, who is now the father of our three children. The births of our three children were as different as can be. From emergency c-section to the long birth that ended in a vacuum extraction and the last birth that only took 3 1/2 hours. My experiences led to me taking the logical step of following a course to become a birth educator in 2022.
